It is not often you get to capture such special moments of your friends lives. I was so excited to meet baby Alice Maeve, the new addition to the Carignan Family! This family holds a special place in my heart. It has brought me so much joy watching and documenting the Carignan Family over the years as they grow in love and now numbers! I was lucky enough to photograph their fist little babe Laura Sue, and now the sweet new arrival of Baby Alice Mauve.
SIBLING PHOTOS
Sibling photos are some of THE cutest photos! I am not going to lie, they are probably the most challenging photos to capture as well. Toddlers are hard to catch and pin down for two seconds at the best of times. Then trying to get them to snuggle the new little baby of the family that has stolen their parents love and attention… Lets just say you have to pull all the tricks out of the bag! Thankfully Laura Sue was absolutely smitten with her baby sister Alice. She didn’t really want to give her kisses, but she was excited to hug and hold her. Prepare yourself for some heart explosions! These two made MY ovaries ache!

CREATIVE PHOTOS
Books are a special thing in the Carignan Family. This next photo was designed especially for baby Alice. When their older daughter Laura Sue was a newborn, we tried to pose her on a small pile of books, but she absolutely was not having it. This was our second attempt at trying to capture this theme for them. Thankfully we succeeded and baby Alice happy peacefully slept next to her children’s books.
