Arjun Newborn Session – I have always loved the the creative side of Newborn Photography. That is what drew me to this niche just over 5 years ago. Still to this day, I could never tell you what my ‘style’ is because I feel like it is always changing, but I do know what I love… and that is to create art from my photography.

 

Baby Arjun came into the studio for his FULL Creative Newborn Sessions. These sessions are custom designed for clients down to the very last details. I send clients a questionnaire prior to their session to get an idea of what types of photographs they want to capture during their session, and if they have any special requests. I also like to get an idea of the baby’s nursery theme and home decor. Sessions are focused around the baby but also include full family, sibling and parent photos.

I love new ideas, challenges and when clients come to me with visions. It makes my heart happy to be able to personalize photographs and incorporate sentiment into them. Sometimes it is personal items to be included into images, other times its a sports & teams, and then often its … just because!

Creative Photos

 

Creative Photos are special requests that are included into my Full Creative Newborn Sessions. These photos are more artistic story-telling photos. The digital backgrounds are created separately. Th baby is then photographed in the studio and digitally edited into the background. These photographs take a lot of pre planning & additional editing time behind the scenes. The extra work is worth it though, as they create fun & dramatic images for my clients.

 

Arjun’s parents were baseball fans, Star Wars fans, and then they loved a few of the other images in my gallery. Check out their Creative Photo’s from their session. So fun!

Prop & Simple Baby Photos

 

Sessions also include simple naked squishy photos of baby (referred to as beanbag images as they are usually photographed on a soft beanbag) and Prop Photos. Prop Photographs are when the baby is photographed in a PROP. Examples of props are baskets, beds, bowls etc. Baby can be swaddled, naked or dressed in a cute little outfit.

And now for the epic Family photos. Each Session includes full family photos, individual parent photos and sibling photographs. Baby Arjun had the most adorable big sister who was absolutely smitten with him. Together they made the most perfect heart melting photos together.
