Connecticut Smash Cake First Birthday Photographer
He may have just been the cutest cake smasher I have ever seen! This little aviator was all smiles and bright eyes. It may have only been a little cup cake, but he inhaled it like there was no tomorrow. Watching their face as they taste that first rush of sugar hit their lips is one of my favorite moments. Its either a moment of heavenly bliss or absolute disgust. This little guy could not get enough!
Pre- Portrait Photos
All Cake Smash sessions start with a few simple portrait photos. The vintage bath is always a favorite. The kids LOVE playing with the rubber duckies. Keeping with the vintage feel, we stuck to simple rustic props and set ups.
The Aviator Cake Smash
When designing this aviator set up, this little guys parents wanted something with a vintage feel that captured their families love of travel and world exploration. It was a lot fun coming up with this fun set up, and this little guys adorable personality totally was the ‘icing on the cake’! I think this might be one of my favorite sets so far!
Post Cake Smash Bath Time!
Sometimes it is just easier to jump in the tub after a cake smash. It is the perfect way to get all the frosting off the baby. The babies love the tub and it is a great chance to capture some fun photos of them having a blast splashing the water all over my studio!
Family Mini Outdoor Add-On
Cake Smash Sessions have the opportunity to add on a mini outdoor session. These are a perfect opportunity to capture some additional portrait photos of the baby, as well as some beautiful family photos. This family was absolutely stunning!
