Baby Misha’s newborn session was a perfect mix of color for this sweet little girl. I love soft neutral tones and a beautiful vintage pallet, but little Misha’s beautiful skin tone and gorgeous eyes were just calling for bright vibrant colors! I love styling little girl sessions. There are so many adorable accessories and fun little props to play with. My studio is full of boutique outifts, headbands and little girl designer accessories.
Before every newborn session, I spend a lot of time with parents going back and forth with them, getting ideas and helping them style their session perfect for their little baby. We discuss colors, nursery themes, house decor and of course any sentimental items. I want their session to be perfect and customized just for them. Misha’s mother had previously gone through my portfolio and was drawn to the colorful images. Especially the yellow! This made me excited as I love working with color. This little girl looked so beautiful in yellow!
We continued her session with the addition of purples and soft pinks. At one point, Misha was not very interested in sleeping. This was a great opportunity to captured some beautiful photos of her with her eyes open.
This little girl’s newborn session was a family affair. Her big sister joined the session for some gorgeous sibling photos. The love in big sisters eyes for her new baby sister would have melted anybody’s heart. The two of them were so sweet together. We finished the session with some beautiful parent and full family photographs. At one point, baby Misha was smiling and holding on to her mothers hand in her family photo. It was the most precious thing to see.
