Baby Lucas has lots of exciting times ahead of him. His parents are avid world travelers and wanted to incorporate this part of their lives in their baby sons Newborn Session. Every newborn session I photograph is personally customized to every parents individual style. I love receiving special requests. Often it challenges me artistically and pushes me outside my creative boundaries.

 Baby Lucas’ parents had decorated his nursery with a jungle theme. I tried to subtly include their theme into a couple of scenes from his session. Nursery Theme is often a special request parents try to incorporate into their Newborn Session.

Baby Lucas made the most adorable little Koala Bear!

We tried to stick to a similar earth tone color palette throughout his session, using greens, browns and some subtle grays. The little bunny scene at the end was to celebrate this little easter baby!

Family Photos

 

Every full newborn session includes Family and Parent photos. These are some of the most precious photos of all, celebrating new life and new love. They grow so fast, right before your eyes. I love how little the baby looks in Daddy’s hands. When parents come back a couple of weeks later to view their gallery, it is always amazing to see how much the baby has grown in that time! Every moment is so fleeting!

Maternity Photos

 

Lucas’ parents visited the studio a few weeks before Lucas was born to document their pregnancy. Their maternity session was photographed in the studio and also in the the beautiful surroundings outside the studio. It was such magical time and I know that they are so happy that they were able to capture this special time in their lives.
