I was excited to meet little Baby Sophia! I had previously photographed her beautiful parents for their Maternity Session in the Summer. They were such a sweet couple and when I found out that little Sophia was a Rainbow Baby, I wanted to do something special for this little girl. Like the miracle of a rainbow after a storm, many mamas refer to babies born after loss as their rainbow babies. Sweet little Sophia was the most perfect little thing!

As with all my Newborn Sessions, I like to keep things simple, beautiful and focused on the baby. I tried to incorporate and celebrate with accenting her photos with a touch of ‘rainbow’, but keeping it tasteful and sweet. Sophia was so so tiny. She slept through her entire session and let me capture so many beautiful photographs of her.

The rest of her session was colored with soft pinks and neutrals. She let me pose her and wrap her without a single little peep. I wanted to keep her. She was so tiny and delicate. Here are the rest of her photos from her Newborn Session.

PARENT PHOTOS

At the end (or the beginning) of every Newborn Session I will take some beautiful photos of the newborn with their parents individually and also together as a family. These are some of my favorite photos. My heart totally melts every single time, seeing the love these parents have for their newborn. Baby Sophia is the whole world to this beautiful couple!
