Its been a month full of Cake Smash Sessions! I will never complain when there is cake involved! It has been so much fun designing sets for all these fun birthday sessions.
This beautiful English Tea Garden Cake Smash is one of my favorites to date. Sweet little Olivia has been coming into the studio throughout this past year documenting all her milestones. She started with her Newborn Session and then came in for her 3, 6 & 9 month milestone sessions. Now we were able to complete the year with this gorgeous English Tea Cake Smash Session.

It has been so much fun photographing Baby Olivia over these past 12 months. Watching her grow and seeing that adorable little personality start to shine through. She was all smiles at her Cake Smash Session… well, maybe almost all smiles. I think there was one moment there that she was completely over the cake. But for the most part, her session was full of belly laughs and excitement.
We started the session of with some simple portrait photos capturing her personality. Her outfits were picked from the Designer Client Wardrobe. At almost 12 months, she was nearly walking but definitely standing with a little assistance.

Olivia’s Mom wanted something elegant, classy and timeless. This idea of an English Tea Garden popped into her head, and as soon as she mentioned it I could envision that it was going to be amazing. I have this weird secret love for antique china and tea cups, so I was excited to pull out my hidden collection. I think it pulled together so delicately.
And there was one point when she had decided that she was over the sticky fingers… I might be weird, but I think the crying photos are some of the cutest!
The Post Bubble Bath
The best way to clean all the frosting off the Baby is with a bubble bath! And what Baby doesn’t love to splash?!
