I can not believe how fast this past couple of months have flown by. It has been a whirlwind of Fall Sessions and then Holiday Sessions. I haven’t even had a chance to sit down and share all my beautiful photos from this years Fall Family Sessions. Photographing families in the New England Fall is one of my favorite! We are just so lucky here in Connecticut to experience such beauty this time of year. The colors, the fresh crisp air. I must admit, the unusually warm weather this Fall did make it a little more difficult. Peek colors came a few weeks late and the dry spell didn’t help with all that color pop. But in the end, it is not just the colors I’m trying to photograph, its the connection between my families I want to capture.

I love spending time with my families, allowing them to feel comfortable and really let their personalities shine. Fall Sessions are photographed outdoors in nature in the beautiful afternoon light. I like to keep it simple, let the children run around and play. Casually walking through a beautiful park capturing those special moments and connection. Letting the children walk and talk and explore. Thats when the real smiles come out!

I feel like every time I head out to a Family Session the colors and the light are different each time. I love finding new locations and scouting out fun little spots for my clients so that they not only enjoy their experience but have a beautiful gallery of a variety of candid family moments.
