It’s not even December and it has already been one whirlwind of a Christmas Season here in Connecticut at Natalie Buck Photography! Holiday Sessions have been in full swing since the beginning of November, wrapping up this week as I head off to Australia to visit my family for the Holidays. I can’t say that I am at all sad that I will be leaving the cold and heading to a HOT and SUNNY Australian Summer! Jealous much? I have been waiting almost 10 years for a White Christmas here in Connecticut, so when you wake up on Christmas day with that beautiful fresh layer of white fluffy snow this year, you can thank ME! You know it’s going to happen!

So before I forget (as my brain is frazzled from editing until 3am most mornings) I hope that you all have an amazing Holiday Season full of love, laughter and joy. It has been such a wonderful year and my heart is overwhelmed with all the beautiful people that come into my life as a result of this amazing job. Clients become friends, my little newborn babies become children; and as time goes by I feel honored to watch families grow and to be able to document their lives so that they can not only feel the love in their lives but see it in pictures.

This year’s Mini Sessions were a combination of outdoor sessions at a local Christmas Tree Farm and indoor Studio Sessions. It’s always challenging coming up with new fun and creative ideas without being… well, lets just be honest, CHEESY! (I hate Cheesy!). But I think we did it! We captured the Magic! There were lots of laughs, plenty of giggles and always some tears (nothing a handful of cheerio’s can’t fix!) but all in all, it was a very jolly time. Kids were able to run around and play hide-and-seek amongst the christmas trees. It was like kiddy-heaven with all the props to play with, but I think most of all, they LOVED jumping on the bed in their pajamas the best!
