I have heard some pretty amazing birth stories over the years. It blows my mind to hear and see the strength in so many couples as they each travel through their own journey of pregnancy and birth.
Baby Ivy’s sorry is no different. So much joy and a lot of sadness. Ivy was and will be a twin forever. Her twin brother never made it earthside alongside her. Ivy’s parents wanted to commemorate their lost child and Ivy’s twin in a beautiful elegant way. Forever loved and never forgotten.
Blue Butterflies
Blue Butterflies were a very sentimental symbol for this family right from the beginning. Ivy’s mom came into the studio prior to her birth for some maternity photos. She wanted to incorporate blue butterfly into her sessions to commemorate her lost son. We also carried this through into her newborn session and created some beautiful images of Ivy surrounded by blue butterflies to represent her brother. She will forever be a twin and surrounded by his love.
Creative Newborn Session
Ivy’s session was just stunning and elegant. Born right around Christmas we also wanted to celebrate this christmas baby with a special set up. She was a precious gift under their Christmas tree this year. The rest of her session was filled with delicate lace, soft pinks and everything girly.
Family Photos – When your Dad is a Police Officer!
Family & Parent photos are included in every Full Creative Newborn Session. Ivy’s Dad is a Police Officer, so it seemed only fitting to capture some photos of him in his uniform with his sweet little girl! All the smiles! I can’t handle it!
