Connecticut Best Cake Smash First Birthday Photographer
Where the Wild Things Are is one of my favorite classic children’s book. So you can imagine I was pretty excited to have this as a theme for one of my Cake Smash First Birthday Clients. Baby Loki (yes coolest name ever!) was one of my Newborn Graduates, so I couldn’t wait to see how much this little dude had grown.
Outdoor Add On
Cake Smash Sessions come with the option to add on a small outdoor component to your session. This is a fun way to get some family and sibling photos included into your session. Loki had the most adorable outfit for his outdoor component. There may have been snow on the ground, but this little guy was rugged up warm. How cute is this? Mom and Dad then joined in for some family photos.
Pre Cake Smash Portraits
Before we start getting messy with the cake, I love to capture some adorable portrait photos of the baby. Usually there are a couple of simple set ups that incorporate some fun props. Clients have the option to borrow any of the outfits from the complimentary Designer Wardrobe. Loki looked totally smashing. What a heart melter!
Where the Wild Things Are CAKE SMASH
This might have been one of the best (messiest, funniest) cake smash sessions ever! Loki was OBSESSED with chocolate cake. He could not get enough in his mouth at one time. He would have literally sat there an eaten the entire thing if we had let him.
Bath Time
And the Bubble Bath is the finale! There was chocolate cake EVERYWHERE! The bubble bath is a sure way to get clean and make an extra mess in the studio!
