Connecticut Maternity and Pregnancy Photographer

Winter in Connecticut dragged on well into March this year. Perfect for some late on location winter Maternity Sessions! Nothing like a few snow flurries to add that touch of romance to a Pregnancy Session. This session was a fusion of on location and indoor studio, providing a gorgeous gallery of photos. My client chose the lavender gown with extended tossing train for her outdoor photos. The weather was perfect and the dress melted into the wintery colors of the landscape.
STUDIO PHOTOS
The session started inside the studio to capture some airy but dramatic pregnancy photos. Mom wanted her children to join in for some heartfelt sibling photographs. I have to say, these came out beautifully. Such priceless photographs of such a special moment in their lives.
This mom totally rocked her session! When clients come into the studio for their session, they are often nervous about standing in front of the camera. My goal is to make you feel comfortable. I have photographed hundreds of pregnant mothers and I totally understand that this is such a sensitive time in your lives. Often your body doesn’t feel like your own. My job is to make you feel comfortable, embrace your beauty and have fun. It usually takes 5 minutes to warm up, but after that you totally fall into place and start having a great time. Just remember, this is a once in a lifetime moment that you are capturing forever!

On Location Outdoor Photos
The second half of the session takes place on location outside the studio. The studio is located in a gorgeous woodland part of Connecticut. Perfect for some beautiful photos amongst nature. My client chose the lavender gown from my Maternity Wardrobe. This gown had an extended tossing train for that added dramatic effect. All Maternity Clients are welcome to borrow any of my complementary designer gowns from the client wardrobe.
