One Happy Newborn – Look at that Smile!

It is not every day you see a smile THIS big, especially from a tiny 6lb newborn baby! Baby Sarah was one happy little newborn. Her session was full of adorable smiles lighting up the room. Smiles at this age are hard to catch. But if you are watching carefully and are quick with the camera, you can see the ‘happy’ coming.

At two weeks old, newborns have definitely NOT learnt how to smile yet. But if you have ever watched a little baby fall asleep, as they start to relax and drift off into their deep slumber their little face starts to twitch, the eyes flutter and sometimes a smile will pop out unexpectedly. It is the sweetest thing to watch. When that smile does appear, your whole heart just melts. It is one happy moment.

But that little tongue! Gah

Sarah’s Session Style

 

Before every session, I ask parents if there are any particular colors they would like to incorporate into their session. I also ask them if their baby has a nursery theme or if there are any props they would like to bring to the session that are of sentimental value. Sarah’s parents had decorated her nursery in soft pinks, soft grey with a star theme. They also loved neutrals and mom especially wanted some yellow. Taking this all into consideration, Sarah’s session was styled with this in mind
.

Valentine’s Day

 

Now it just so happened that Sarah’s session fell on Valentine’s Day. So obviously we had to do something extra special for this little Love Bug! Here is what I came up with!

All FULL Newborn Sessions include Parent and Family Photos. These are in my mind some of the most precious photos of all. They are the ones that your little baby will grow up seeing how much their parents love them. Looking through these images, you can just see the love and adoration Sarah’s parents have for her.
