Most of the time I photograph adorable newborn babies and beautiful pregnant mothers. Every now and then, I am privileged enough to photograph the beginning of wonderful journey of love. This session was so special and amazing. It is so easy to take beautiful photos of couples when they are truly in love. These two definitely are! I met Glaucia a few years ago. We bonded immediately as we were two women out there in the world taking a giant leap of faith and starting our own businesses from scratch. Three years later, we both look back and could never have guessed we would both be where we are today. It was so fun to catch up and reminisce on the past and even more fun to see her in love and happy!
This gorgeous couple wanted to capture their engagement photos at Harkness State Park. If you have never been there, you should! It is enchanting and magical. Beautiful Gardens, historic buildings and a magical stretch of beach soaked by sunset light. It was the most perfect location for these two. We spent the afternoon wondering the gardens, enjoying ourselves and taking photographs along the way.

Once we made our way through the gardens, we walked down to the beach to catch the last of the sunset light. It was the most perfect magical sunset I have seen in a long time. It literally could not have been a more perfect way to end the evening!
