I love Summer! It might be my Australian blood that craves the warmer temperatures, but when the green starts showing after a brutal winter, my heart starts to do summersaults! Summer brings the beautiful sunsets, the open grassy fields and the longer days. Ok, it also brings the bugs, which are never fun when shooting a late evening session. It is definitely not fun photoshopping every one of those little suckers our of my clients photos either, but the crazy gorgeous sunsets make it all worth it.
I was so excited for this gorgeous couples session. The Wild Rose Tree was in peek bloom. It made for the most romantic backdrop. It matched perfectly with this beautiful mothers dress.
I love that there are so many gorgeous areas right around the studio to take such amazing photographs. I shoot a lot around here and every single time I go out for a session, the surroundings are different depending on the season. No session is ever the same. Not only did this couple get this gorgeous floral backdrop, but they were blessed with a fabulous summer sunset, some beautiful light glistening through the woods and a fairy fern garden. I casually walk around with my clients finding magical spots while we enjoy the outdoors and get to know each other a little bit. I like my sessions to be comfortable and relaxed. It just becomes a fun summer evening out in the country!
