Capturing the last of Fall
It always makes me sad when I watch the last of Fall drift away and winter takes its place. The winters here is Connecticut are epically long and still after all this time, my Australian blood has not acclimated. But there is definitely something to say about the changing of seasons. I do love when the leaves have finally disappeared and all the rich, earthy tones of winter replace the summer greens. Maybe I sound a little morbid when I admit that I love the feel of the moody desolate tones of winter.
This gorgeous Maternity Session literally captured the last of the Fall colors. I had to search to find what was left of the yellows in some of the last leaves to fall. We were blessed with a stunning sunset and this family was just a dream to photograph. Maternity Sessions are not always all about the bump, but capturing the joy of a family that is growing with more love to come.
This Deluxe Maternity Session included some outdoor photos as well as Studio. My client was using the Amber Gold Harper Boho gown from the client closet. This is one of my fave dresses and I was so excited she picked it. Literally perfection for this time of year. I had so much fun photographing this beautiful family!

The Sunset Field
After an outfit change, we headed to the sunset field to capture some gorgeous, more candid photos of this lovely family!
