Firefighter Newborn Session – Superhero Dads

It is not every day you have a firefighter for a DAD! Baby Wake’s dad is a real life superhero, a Sandy Hook Connecticut Firefighter.  After talking with Wake’s Mom, we decided we wanted to do something special to honor this awesome duo. Wake’s dad might be able to fight fires, but when he was holding his brand new baby son in his hands, his heart was totally melting. Even Superhero’s have a kryptonite.

 

Wake’s dad brought all his firefighting gear into the studio. We were able to pose little Wake amongst his dads gear. He looked so incredibly tiny laying next to those massive boots. This photos is so special in so many ways.

And here he is in his father’s Firefighter Helmet! Can you believe he was tiny enough to fit in it? It won’t be long before he is big enough to wear it!

Full Creative Newborn Session

 

Full Creative Newborn Sessions are completely customized to each client. Before each session, I connect with the parents and find out if there is anything special they want to include in their session. I get an idea of color scheme and any favorite photos they may have seen that they would like to include in their session. Wake’s session included some adorable creative photos, some fun holiday photos (which you won’t get to see here unfortunately because I don’t want to ruin the Christmas card surprise) and some more simple set ups. Full Session also include Parent, Family and Sibling photos.
