Winter Maternity Session

It is not often the weather works in my favor, but the last couple of Maternity Sessions I have photographed here in Connecticut have been scheduled the day after the snowstorm! Hey I am not complaining if mother nature wants to decorate the ground with a beautiful white blanket of snow. It only adds to that gorgeous magical experience. It wouldn’t have mattered where I had photographed this couple, because they were just so incredibly stunning! The winter wonderland made for such a fun photoshoot!
STUDIO & OUTDOOR MATERNITY SESSION
I have been shooting Outdoor Maternity Sessions for a while now. I love how organic and beautiful a pregnant mother looks amongst nature. Mother nature helps radiate this inner beauty and softness that just makes you step back in awe at this amazing thing they are doing – carrying a new life! Within the last year I opened my studio and thus have been offering Studio Maternity Sessions. I am totally obsessed with photographing Maternity Sessions in my Studio! While nature brings out this beautiful softness, the studio captures the power and strength of these women! I am so lucky that my Studio is nestled in the woods amongst the fields and gorgeous sunsets because now I am able to offer my mothers a fusion of Studio and Outdoor Maternity Sessions. We start the session in the Studio capturing the strength and raw beauty of pregnancy and then head outside and wonder amongst nature capturing the organic softness of this beautiful journey.
This session was so amazing. This couple literally melted the snow they walked on. I am so obsessed with these photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
