It was so lovely to finally meet this cute little muffin! I was lucky enough to document TJ’s mothers Maternity Session back during the Fall. It was such a magical session. One of the requests she had was that she would love to have a photograph of her son taken in the same location as where her Maternity Photos were photographed. So, during her session, I took along a bucket and some rustic accessories and created a beautiful backdrop so that when this little man came into the studio, I would be able to take a photograph of him and recreate an image from the very same location. And here we have it above, sweet little TJ sleeping amongst the Fall leaves in the very spot his mother stood while he was still in her belly. It just gives me the shivers!

 

TJ was such a champ throughout his Newborn Session, sleeping most of the way through. He made it easy to pose and create some beautiful images for his Nursery. His parents had decorated TJ’s nursery in a woodland theme and wanted to continue that theme through his newborn session, along with some neutral colors and a splash of blue.

The woodland rustic theme was so much fun to put together.

Baby TJ is the first little baby in this family, so family photos were very important. This little guy literally melted into the arms of his parents, and as I was about to take a photograph of him and his Daddy, he reached up and rested his hand on his fathers face. It was one of this moments when your heart just skips a beat. This photograph will be one of those pictures that lasts a lifetime and brings joy to TJ’s parents every time they look at it.
