So, I have to give a shout out to my amazing husband for this photograph. Because without his incredible carpentry skills, my vision for this would not have come to life. He spent hours making this life size moon prop for me so that I could photograph babies on it. Yeah, he is pretty amazing. He is getting good at making tiny beds, little wooden cribs and endless props to pose newborns in. Maybe there is another career choice for him. wink wink.

Meet Baby Domenic, my first little Man on the Moon. It makes my heart happy when my momma’s come back to the studio with their second and third child. A couple of years ago, I photographed Domenic’s older brother Anthony. This is such a beautiful family and I feel honored to have captured photos of some of the most special times in their lives.

Baby Domenic was such a cutie. Initially, he was resisting the urge to fall asleep. I was able to photograph some of the most adorable photos of him with his eyes wide open. Believe it or not, this is a fairly a rare occurrence during a newborn session. He was so calm and relaxed, just too interested in the world around him to take a nap. Eventually the sleepy vibes took over and he slowly melted into a deep sleep. His session was full of fun and creative photos. Everything from sleeping on the moon and eating donuts!
